Precariously Close to 5 billion Points of Confusion
Precariously Close to 5 billion Points of Confusion is a suite of nine prints, combined lithograpy and silkscreen. The crowd scenes, printed silkscreen, are taken from demonstrations around the world in the late eighties, Moscow, Tianemin Square, East Berlin, Prague, the Ayatola's funeral, Ankara, Turkey, New Delhi, India and Cape Town, South Africa, juxtaposed with images of individuals, real life and cartoon, hand-printed by lithography. Each print is 22x30 inches (56x76cm.). Printed in 1990 in an edition of 64 on Arches 88 paper. The portfolio comes in a boxed set with title page and description.
